Job Title:Operations Logistics Supervisor/Planner
Location: GAMBA, Gamba, Gabon

Shell has been operating in Gabon for fifty years and has a strong portfolio in the South of the country. The Rabi, Toucan and Koula fields are located approximately 50 kilometers north of the Gamba field, where the company also has its headquarters. The company recently opened an office in Libreville and just under fifty staff working in support function jobs now work there.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure dialy logistics operations are planned and executed in compliance with HSSE & SD Control Framework Transport Manuals.
• Ensure dialy logistics operations are planned and executed in compliance with all applicable HSE requirements and procedures.
• Co-ordinate daily logistics operations,in co-operation with land transport,aviation and marine section heads,to provide most effective logistics solutions to support day to day business activities.
• Oversee operational processes at Ndogo and Gamba terminal fuel stations and manage any maintenance and repair activities required including management of appropriate budget cost centre.
• Perform daily meetings with contractor supervisors to ensure daily activity requirements are fully understood and any potential problems are discussed and agreed.
• Perform site visits to daily activities being performed (including CPT activities) to ensure appropriate oversight of ongoing activities.
• Attend all short,medium and long term integrated activity planning sessions and advise logistics section heads on forthcoming logistics needs to appropriately support Shell Gabon activities.
• Participate in building and managing the land transport annual budget.
• Participate in Contract Management activites of land transport contractor
• Perfom personnel related activities for direct reporting staff.
• Participate in incident investigations as required by OLS section heads.

Requirements:
• Deep experience in land transport operations in the oil industry.
• Experienced in managing land transport operations including knowledge of all safety aspects of lifting activities.
• Sound knowledge of and experience in rig move and rig supply operations.
• Experienced in transport fleet planned maintenance, spare part control and workshop activities.
• Sound knowledge of UI safety systems, Safety case, Stop system, logistics safety management systems and ISO 14001.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and French language.
