About The Role
Oxfam GB is looking for a Programme Officer to contribute to its Food Security & Livelihoods programme in the Gaza Strip. This includes the Cash Voucher Programme (CVP) in partnership with WFP and other cash-based and small scale livelihoods activities funded by ECHO and SYS.
The position is an eight (8) month fixed-term contract (with possible extension) and based in Gaza.
About You
If you are interested in applying you will have experience in the Food Security & Livelihoods sector in Gaza & awareness of the issues that influence and shape it. You will have well developed project cycle management skills, including monitoring, analysis, assessments and reporting, along with experience of community-based programming, preferably in the NGO sector. Experience in cash transfer and voucher programming is advantageous for this role. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work within teams effectively. Oxfam implements this programme through a partner organisation; therefore experience in working with & capacity building partners is important. Excellent communication skills in English as well as Arabic are a must for this role.
