The Rabi, Toucan and Koula fields are located approximately 50 kilometers north of the Gamba field, where the company also has its headquarters. The company recently opened an office in Libreville and just under fifty staff working in support function jobs now work there.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate the execution of production and routine first line maintenance activities in oil/gas field,and ensuring that production targets are met and that wells,facilities maintenance and integrity requirements are satisfied.
• Drive the effective implementation of Operational Excellence (OE) Standard in own asset with emphasis on Maintenance,Integrity,Activity Planning and Work Preparation processes.
• Participate in OE reviews
• Execute routine production and maintenance operations and minor non-routine production and Maintenance activities as directed by his Team Leader.
• Coordinate and monitor the effectiveness of MIE process in own team and identify required improvements
• Ensure operational controls at the facilities to ensure and sustain continuous improvement in HSE performance
• Provide accurate data for production performance,reservoir management,statutory & business requirement.
• Operator of flow station,gas stations and associated assets in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with stipulated guidelines.
• Measure,validate and report production volumes accurately.
• Participate safely in plant shutdown as required
• Ensure that wells are tested and sampled as per the requirements of the reservoir management,validate and report the results.
• Take requested samples for analyses,take and record field data requested for general monitoring of plant performance.
• Execute the set programmes of minor routine equipment services as set out in the facility Manuals and Work Practices.
• Execute recommendations from performance improvement of individual assets
• Perform functional test of asset to ensure integrity in conjunction with team leader.
• Diagnose and rectify upsets in the plant or facilities.
• Carry out routine first line maintenance checks on all plant and process equipment.
• Operate plant-safeguarding systems located in the field.
• Maintain good housekeeping within the plant areas.
• Isolate and depressurize process equipment for maintenance as directed
• Hold After Action Review (A.A.R.) with team members on operational issues and challenges

Requirements:
Knowledge of relevant topics in physics, chemistry etc..that relates to hydrocarbons and how this can be used to explain temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc..) and their impact in the design & operation of production operation processing facilities .
Experience in hydrocarbon production related operations
HSE background and Ability to work in team
Ability to work with a multi-discipline production team. Good documentation skills
