Posted Date: 5/4/2012 Category: International Positions More information about this job: Overview: Reporting to the Surgeon, the Assistant Surgeon works as one of the team members on the mobile voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) teams to provide quality VMMC services unit. Assistant Surgeon will work to ensure the safety of the patient at all times. Jhpiego is one of the implementing partners of the APHIAplus Western Kenya project. This USAID funded APHIAplus projects became effective from January 2011 and work closely with the Government of Kenya, non-governmental and for-profit sectors to strengthen health care services in all provinces. The APHIAplus Western Kenya project covers Western and Nyanza provinces. Successful candidate will be hired for a one year fixed contract.
